Milone & MacBroom, Inc.'s engineers and landscape architects designed the 234-unit Chatfield Farms active adult community. The firm was responsible for the planning and design of the community including feasibility analysis, and preparation of site plans for regulatory approvals and construction.
Design included all roadways, grading, and landscaping. The utility design included one mile of gravity sewer and a 222 gpm pump station. Construction started in 2007 and the project has received six design awards from the Home Builders Association, including Best 55+ Community in Connecticut and Best 55+ Community in New England.
